Why You Should do Business with Joanne

JoanneThreeQuarterJoanne is a skilled estate professional in Orinda, CA, specializing in luxury properties. Prior to becoming a Realtor in 1996, she spent more than 25 years in communications, working as a news writer for newspapers and magazines, including a 10-year stint at the New York Times sports department as the boating editor. In this capacity, she covered three America’s Cup yacht races. Joanne, who grew up sailing small boats, also participated in one leg of the Round The World Race from Argentina to England.

Since moving to Orinda, from Rancho Santa Fe and prior to that, from Westport, CT, with her husband, a consultant in the golf industry, she has used her communications and marketing skills to help her clients achieve their goals. Her communications background as well as her real estate training and experience combine to offer her clients strong negotiating skills and an in depth knowledge of the local real estate market.

“I have found genuine pleasure in helping families solve their home buying or home selling needs,” she explained. “A home usually represents a person’s biggest single investment, as well as being an expression of one’s lifestyle, personality and tastes. A successful agent will inspire the trust and confidence of the families he or she is working with. That’s my goal.”

Joanne and her late husband have two sons, both in finance, and three grandchildren. She also loves gardening, golf and her two German shepherds, who have her well trained. Joanne is grateful for her fabulous family and friends, and exceptional clients.
